Jony Ive, Apple’s chief designer, will leave the company this year to start its own design company, LoveFrom, and Apple will become a customer of the new design company.

Jony Ive has worked at Apple for 20 years and is considered one of the most important people in Apple. He is responsible for the appearance and feel design of major Apple products, including the iPhone and Mac. In recent years, Jony Ive has spent most of his time designing Apple Park in Cupertino, California, which has invested $5 billion and is now open.

Ive has long been regarded as one of Apple’s most important people. But after joining Apple in 1992, Ive was a hero in the first few years. It wasn’t until 1997 when Apple bought NeXT and Jobs returned to take over as CEO.

Affected by the news, Apple’s share price fell 1.5% to $197.44 in after-market trading in the United States, evaporating about $9 billion in market value.
